HopeCare Global Launches OvaTrack — A Mobile App Designed to Close the Gap in Ovarian Cancer Awareness and Early Detection
Evidence-based symptom tracking and education tool puts ovarian cancer knowledge directly in the hands of women most at risk
ATLANTA, GA — October 8, 2026 — HopeCare Global Inc, a nonprofit organization dedicated to health equity and ovarian cancer awareness in underserved communities, today announced the launch of OvaTrack, a mobile application designed to help women understand their ovarian cancer risk, track symptoms, and navigate the path to care.
Ovarian cancer is often called the "silent killer" — not because symptoms are absent, but because they are subtle, easily dismissed, and frequently misattributed. Black women are disproportionately diagnosed at later stages and face higher mortality rates, a disparity driven by gaps in awareness, access, and clinical bias.
OvaTrack was built to change that.
Key features of OvaTrack include:
- Symptom Tracker — Log and monitor persistent symptoms (bloating, pelvic pain, urinary urgency, early satiety) with patterns visualized over time
- Risk Assessment Tool — Guided questions based on established clinical risk factors, family history, and genetic predisposition
- Conversation Guide — Printable summaries and talking points to bring to a healthcare provider
- Education Library — Culturally competent content written at an accessible literacy level, covering detection, diagnosis, treatment options, and survivor stories
- Appointment Reminders — Integrated scheduling support for follow-up visits and screenings
"Ovarian cancer has hidden in plain sight for too long, especially in Black and immigrant communities where awareness is lowest and outcomes are worst," said Dr. Petrina Harrison, DNP, APRN, AGCNS-BC, CIC, founder and CEO of HopeCare Global. "OvaTrack puts a clinically informed tool in a woman's pocket — not to diagnose, but to empower her with the knowledge and language she needs to advocate for her own health."
The app was developed in collaboration with clinical advisors and community health advocates to ensure both medical accuracy and cultural relevance. OvaTrack is free to download and available on iOS and Android.
